Thousands of tourists trapped in Machu Picchu amidst Peru protests

Protesters are demanding the release of former leftist President Pedro Castillo, the resignation of new President Dina Boluarte and new elections. Trains were halted Tuesday to and from Machu Picchu, which is experiencing food shortages.
